THE JOURNEY OF CHRISTMAS

The event gathered some 50 youths together for a time of Fun, Games, Food, Worship, Laughters and Sharing of Lives. As part of the My Hope Singapore project, the event also highlighted Pastor Neville Tan's life journey leading to Christ. The Gospel was shared and we believe by faith that lives were touched. In fact, TWO persons indicated their decisions to want to know Christ!
Its always a joy to know people coming to the Lord and experiencing the gift of Eternal Life from Jesus:) Such joy cannot be explained!
That night new friendships were forged. New friends were made. The Lord was with us:)
Christmas isn't about gift-exchanging. Its not about walking down Orchard Rd and feel the atmosphere created by people and the decorative lights. It isn't about eating ice-kachang and pretending its snow!
It is about remembering the birth of our dear Lord Jesus who came to us in the times of darkness to give us light, the gift of Eternal Life! It is about His divine supernatural birth through the virgin Mary and preparation of Himself to die for us on the Cross for all our sins which has set us in darkness & death for so long.
2000 years ago, the Light has dawned. Thats the Reason of celebrating Christmas!
